Jamie Boddie is an illustrator who primarily works in digital media while maintaining a strong connection to traditional materials such as graphite, gouache, and colored pencil. Her work explores an ever-changing balance between fantastical themes, gothic themes, pop culture, and design, reflecting her ongoing search for new ways to blend imagination with communication.
Jamie currently holds a BFA in Illustration with a concentration in concept design and a minor in publication and advertising. While concept design continues to be at the heart of her practice, she is developing a growing interest in publication and advertising, where illustration plays a direct role in shaping cultural and commercial storytelling.
Her work has received recognition in both academic and professional contexts, most recently with an Honorable Mention in the IDA Design Awards in the Food Packaging category. With each new project, Jamie continues to expand her creative voice, drawing on both digital and traditional practices to produce illustrations that are imaginative, engaging, and rooted in her evolving artistic journey.
